A corporate county before it is a residential one

Purchase, Armonk and White Plains generate the majority of our Westchester work, and most of it is corporate — visiting executives, roadshows, and airport runs booked by an assistant rather than the traveller.

The pattern is consistent enough that we keep preferences on file for regular travellers: preferred vehicle, which building entrance they use, whether the cabin should be quiet. Small things that make a repeated trip better.

Westchester County Airport handles a good deal of private aviation, and FBO pickups there operate differently from a commercial terminal — the timing is driven by the aircraft rather than a published schedule.

Four-hour minimums, and why

Hourly bookings that begin outside New York City carry a four-hour minimum rather than three. That is industry standard rather than specific to us, and it reflects the unpaid travel to and from a pickup outside the city.

For a single airport transfer this does not apply — point-to-point runs are flat-rated with no hourly minimum, so a White Plains to JFK trip is one published figure.

The Connecticut border is close enough that many Westchester clients book both legs of a Greenwich or Stamford trip together. See city-to-city rates for those figures.
